Let me tell you, my DDIL makes floorcloths and this stuff from fabric.com is NOT floorcloth material. I don't know where they got that term but I sure wouldn't want to walk on it. Again, maybe placemats. Hmmmm......another idea :roll:

My DIL gave me a book for Xmas last year with patterns for 'floor quilts' .. you shellack,lacquer or maybe 'mod-pog' the fabric pieces to the floor cloth, trim out the edge, and have a beautiful 'quilt' you can walk on. I haven't made on yet, .... maybe I can't get past the whole... 'walking on a quilt'.......

I think they put non-skid stuff on the bottom - I don't think they are attached to the floor.
