I've been out of touch for a few days and just now catching up with all of the posts/topics. Thanks for your words of encouragement as well as the beautiful picture of your quilt. Is this the only one you have made? Have you made items to frame?

I have made other blocks, my husband made frames for them, and they were given away as gifts. I did not take any pictures of those. Sorry.

When I taught classes we did our poundings on a 6 X 9 piece of fabric to start with (seems to be less intimidating) and I had everyone put a 5X8 index card under to center their work. Then they filled the area to their liking, traced everything with a permanent fine point pen (Sharpie or Pigma), signed their masterpiece, cut it down to size, and then framed them. There were some awesome pieces! Sheri

The flower pounding is lovely. Do you cover it with something ? sounds interesting. If pieces of the petal adhere to your fabric then what? :?:

The basic supplies are: 2 inch masking tape, a hammer or mallet, apiece of wood or cutting board to hammer on, a pigma pen to outline with, and pdf fabric. (You can buy pdf fabric, make your own, or use the printed tresure sheets - or another brand. - If you use untreated muslin, your design will eventually fade away.)

Iam anxious to try flower pounding. I saw that there was a book list seller that had a newsletter and would like to get on the mailing list what do I do? Saw that I could get the book on Amazon for $9 with free shipping on order over $25 . Any tips on things that worked or did't work well
