Default folded wreath

What did I do wrong. I tried making a wreath. It almost looks Ok. The center is too small. I had bought a thick candle to use in the center but that star type center hole is way too small. How do I fix this. I already made pot holders for the gift. So this will be for myself.

the wreath doesn't really have to have a candle or anything in the center, so go ahead and gift it. I'm sure it will be appreciated for the beauty in it.

You can use it as a table decoration without a candle. For future wreaths, try doing the squares with paper first until you get the size center hole you want.

That happened to me. I unsewed the petals. I adjusted my stitching line so that I didn't sew as far into the center. My opening went from about 1-1/2 inches to about 3-1/2 inches. Test your stitching line by pinning together the petals first.

You can get a candle holder (glass) and put a tapered candle in it. Just slip it from the bottom so the base is under the wreath. If your wreath is for Christmas you can add a little holly or tinsel around the base. Or so flowers etc for any wreath. Good luck.
