Don't laugh, check out children's coloring books. I used to do Stained Glass, many years ago and this was recommended to me. There are a lot of simple patterns available that are easy to trace. Good luck!
Maybe check on the Williamsburg, VA website. They might have some theme coloring books that have pictures in the mode you are looking for.

Try charity shops (Goodwill) for Folk Art books look for ones with the topic you are after, they have the line patterns which you can enlarge and also the colours which would help with fabric choices. I use mine for floral designs for painted cushions and lamp shades.
