Thread: Foray in to Picture quilting

    I am going to take the jump and try picture quilting. This will be the picture I am going to attempt to make in to a quilt...my little snow elf :-)

    Any tips, tricks or techniques anyone has to share I would be glad to listen.

    Can't give you any advice, but she isn't a snow elf. She looks more like an Snow angel to me.

    Oh my gosh April! She is a beauty! And will make a gorgeous quilt. I can't wait to see your progress!

    make a black and white copy so you get a good idea of the values in the basic photo...all pink is not the same, etc. and enlarge the copy so you can see this better

    Thank you so much for your kind words ladies-she is my love! I will definitely post progress. (and maybe some tips as I go too!)
