Found fabric is better than finding money in the couch cushions.

It is a great feeling, like getting an extra little present!
I hope that I, too, will find lost items as well as things I've forgotten about when I get to straightening the sewing room -- but not until after the holidays. This whole week will be for resting, regrouping, and enjoying family and friends. I look forward to all the little presents I hope to find buried within. I hope all are enjoying this time of peace and joy.

Once or twice I've found "lost items". There has been a piece or two of fabric that I wonder where it came from

    Merry Christmas :-)

When I cleaned out the linen closet recently - in order to purge extra items - I discovered some quilt blocks my paternal grandmother had made. Boy, I had put them near the quilt she had made and forgotten about the "good and safe" place. I thought that I had turned the entire household inside-out hunting for those blocks!!!! Then, there is the story about a laundry basket of misc. fabric I had stashed in another closet.....

Congrats on your discovery! I have been sewing today and enjoying my stash. This has been very relaxing. :-)

Have you ever rediscovered fabric you forgot you had stashed?
I found some misplaced Christmas fabrics about 3 weeks ago. Yipee!
