Does anyone know a formula for figuring out what size to cut squares that are to be cut again to make setting and corner triangles? I am making a baby quilt with 6 inch squares set on point but can't figure out how to cut for the triangles. Thanks.

Carolyn

I've been looking at the very question of triangles for about a week now, wondering if I'm really wanting to do them on the next quilt. I found this:

Oddly enough they use the 6 in square as an example (9-3/4). Hope it helps.

This is in the "Links" area of the Board for any size setting.
