My quilter friend took me to a quilting shop that she had discovered. From the outside, it looks just like any other home in the neighborhood. We were welcomed in and taken to another room where the long arm quilting machine was set up.
Not being familiar with quilting shops, I was overwhelmed. The room was not that large but it was utilized from top to bottom. She had shelves of fabric, all color matched. And, of course, everything to go with quilting.
I was very impressed with her versatility. She had a bag she had made to take to the St Patrik's Day Parade in Atlanta ( her husband plays the bagpipes. There were quilts and wall hangings as well as many different bags. She had even covered one of the tote bags you get at the grocery store.I
I could rave forever but I will say I thought her prices were reasonable. A cent and a half for a square inch. I have a baby quilt and a couch quilt that I want to have done and that is where I am going. Should I try for pictures?
