I have used this frame for years. I have made longer bars and can quilt a quilt up to 76" wide. I love this thing. Yes, there is a learning curve but don't give up too fast. It will take time to get comfortable quilting this way but once you figure it out you will enjoy it!

Bought an older model few yrs ago from someone on this board. Recently gave it away with longer boards 60 in and covers for the 2 x 2 's as I wanted to do bigger quilts than the 45 inches. Did a demo at our quilt group because so many ladies had seen the dvd. My biggest problem is the room that you need for it to go back and forth. I didn't have a hard time " learning curve " and I have a machine with a fair size throat. Got tired of storing it so it went to a bigger house. I had the pvc pipe the height of my machine also to help guide it --all gone but I do free motion instead on the charity quilts that I do. good luck !
