I was all excited when I saw this tree skirt pattern - and then I looked at the directions and just said what the?? I don't get it :( I just don't get it.

It's probably just me - I just don't get it. I haven't been quilting for a huge length of time so it is really probably just me. Someone else can probably look at it and go oh yeah... do this this and that and know exactly what they're talking about.

If you google the name of the fabric like "4850 Blossom" for a picture you'll see that the fabric is shades of red running down the lenghth of the fabric. Each shade divided by a black line. So when the pattern says th 'tear down the center printed line" that is what they are talking about.
