Default Friendship block dimensions?

I came across this fabric by Tula Pink and knew I had to have it. I have a design in mind for the raccoons, which require fussy cutting with a 6.5 inch square en pointe. Then wanting to make a square block with the fussy cut en pointe , I came across a variation of the friendship block but can not find a pattern. Here are the fabrics .
i think the finish block would by 9 or 10 inches. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

It's similar to this block except the center block is on point not on the square..

The pattern is simple. It is the quilting that is intimidating!

I will keep looking for the on point square in square. I know I have seen it recently.

This is the one I remembered seeing:http://starwoodquilter.blogspot.com/...ilt-block.html
And many different "Friendship" blocks here:https://www.google.com/search?q=frie...A&ved=0CDQQsAQ
Maybe you could link a picture of the one you found and someone could EQ a pattern?

yes, it's the Starwood quilter block!! ...don't know what I would need to make the corner triangles for a 6.5 inch sq.
