What is it with FMQ? I have worked and practiced and praticed, my last quilt I was so pleased with my fm, thought I had it all firgued out for the most part. This one I am working on now is the pitts. I am almost all done and now I will have to rip out most of it if not all of it out. Why? Why? I kepted checking my stitches thinking it is looking good. Half way through, I started getting little tiny bumps almost like something is wrong with my tension? I can't firgue it out! Any help would be certainly appreciated.
I changed the needle, made sure it is inserted correctly,
changed thread, changed the bobbin, etc. GRRRRRR!!!!!

I wish I could help you but I know nothing about FMQ. I'm sure one of the experts will be along soon to help you out.

I don't know, but sometimes machines seem to behave themselves better after you've had a good night's sleep. Did you rethread both the bobbin and top thread completely?

My bet is a tiny piece of lint stuck between the upper tension discs or somewhere in the bobbin area. You may not even be able to see it. Try cleaning both of these areas thoroughly before re-threading. (Unwaxed dental floss works well for the upper tension discs. For the bobbin area I use a straw taped to the crevice tool of my vacuum cleaner to suck everything out.)

I am sorry to hear you are so frustrated.
Walk away from it for awhile. Things will
work better when you come back to it.
(Relax in a hot tub, have a glass of wine, some chocolate....)
See you feel better already!

I am so intimidated by FMQ! When I grow up I want to try to do it!
