    That happens to my fabrics in the washer. I don't usually have any trouble in the dryer, but I never leave them in there long.

    Have you tried putting tennis balls in the dryer like one would do with a down filled coat. Also, there are plastic balls about the size of tennis balls that seem to help fluff up the objects that are being dried.
