Yesterday a friend and I were fortunate enough to attend a program by Kristine Poor of Poorhouse Quilt Designs held at Calico Gals (home of the Row by Row Experience) in Syracuse NY. I've made her fold and stitch wreath, picked up one of her ornament kits at AQS in Lancaster and looked forward to her latest pattern. Kristine was so fun. What an infectious laugh she has! She had lots of samples to share, tips, technique pointers and insight into her quilt journey. She also said she will be doing more videos for her web site, so check it out if you are a fan. I thoroughly enjoyed the time.

From there, we went to the Plank Road Quilt Guild quilt show in Cicero NY. Some fabulous things to see.

It was a great quilty day! :-)
