I was looking at the "antique" store LOL for a dutch oven and I know she always has quilts. I was asking where all her quilts had gone....... :( She told me she can keep the tops but if they are quilted they walk out the same day they come in. I asked in passing if she had any quilt books.

yeap she only had 3 but at $2 each and they are hard back I had to have them

I love looking at the old books. My favorite from the 70s has the patchwork long skirts. Then the books from the 80s have the glasses that are oversized. Did we really think we were cool looking like that?

Great finds! I love looking at old books too.

My local library is always cleaning out older books and I found four of the big old Good Houseeeeping genre books that I got for a quarter each! Have spent lots of time paging through them and chuckling at the models and fashions and the COLORS! Retro is fun!
