It's a beautiful quilt. You made some wonderful choices on fabric, pattern and quilting design. I agree that maybe if it were hanging or draped differently it probably would have raised more. Then again it is "that time of year" when many budgets are stretched.

Sorry to hear that, I make quilts and do not try to sell them as people have no idea what goes into making a quilt. They do not realize the cost of the fabric etc. plus all the time and effort it takes. You did a nice job on that quilt.

It's too bad that you couldn't have put a "minimum opening bid" on your quilt that reflected your costs.
My family donated some items to a fundraiser that were put out as "silent auction". Someone went around writing "$1" on all the pages, so I wrote in what I thought the minimum bid should have been and bought them back. The fundraiser got what we wanted them to get, and that person was not allowed to "steal" them with her low bids.
