Okay, this stuff drives me crazy. I'm on my second bow tucks purse and yeah, it does get sewn it some but I REALLY wish it would stick better.

Any suggestions? I'm using the Pellon like the pattern recommended....tired of it not sticking like I think it should though.

    :)

I used regular cotton batting and a temporary spray adhesive, and it worked great. My local store does not carry the fusible as it is too expensive.

I had the same problem. I'm not paying for it anymore. I'll just use batting and spray on.

Then I'll do this. I finished the purse with the fusible but it drove me nuts. Batting and spray sounds like a good option.
    Thanks!!!!!

I bought some last December and had the very same problems with it. I ended up with more puckers on my doll quilt back than I ever had with spray or pinbasting Grrrr

The fusible Pellon fleese was only 3.99 a yard where I shopped and bought it, I didn't think that was too expensive, how much do you pay? Lace

When you are fusing the fleece you should put it on the ironing board with the fusible side up. Then lay your fabric on it with the right side up. Press the fabric...be sure to hold your iron in each place long enough. It should fuse well enough to hold while you are quilting it.

I used to have trouble with it too but now I set the iron on wool & steam steam steam! Then I turn it over & steam some more. I don't have problems with it anymore

Are you using Pellon? Did you press it long enough? 10 seconds at least. I haven't had any problems with it. Maybe you can take it back to the store and complain. Maybe you got an old batch that was damaged.
