I was wondering, does fusible fleece have little dots on the back? It's almost like felt but softer.
I 'm going to make a purse and that's what the pattern calls for.The purse is called Mini Charmer.

If I am to broke to buy the fusible fleece I make my own. I use any 2 sided fusible web stuff and fuse one side to left over batting, cut to size then use it just like regular fusible fleece. No, it is not quite as stiff, but it holds up well enough for my uses. After being washed the expensive pellon that the bow tucks calls for softens and isn't as stiff either.

I really like fusible fleece, I use it for lots of small projects, although I've never used it on a quilt, but I buy mine at Wal-Mart. Its only $4 a yard there, so I buy it whenever I can.

Thanks for the idea!!! I make totes but I usually just use batting and do some decorative sewing to hold it. I will have to try your idea.
