If you had a choice of two featherweights, for the same price, that were both in good condition -- how would you make your decision?

This is a situation that I may be facing. Keep your fingers crossed.

If one had a scroll plate, I would take that one...they're so pretty! If they are both in good condition, I would take whichever one I could get! I don't recall ever reading that there were any "bad" ones, like bad model year cars.

I may lean toward the older of the two, but I've never had such a dilemma :)
I also love the older faceplate but to be honest I love them all. Good luck!!!!!!! :D:D

I would go with the older machine, or the one with the best decals.

I'd also buy them both. I have recently purchase a 1937 and a centennial model. If another comes up at a good price, I may buy it also (but can't let hubby know) lol. I'm hooked.

If one of them had the seam guide on the needle plate, I'd get that one.
