I've been asked to make a geneology quilt, starting with a circle in the center and then radiate out thru parents, grandparents, etc. Has anyone ever done this? Or do you know of a site that might help me? Or has there ever been a post on here pertaining to something like this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Someone on here had a beautiful family tree quilt, but I don't know who it was. you might do a search on this site for "genealogy" or "family tree" or "ancestors" or something like that.

Thank you so much. Gives me a little something to go on. This will take me many months but once I start, will post some pictures.

I made a family tree quilt with family photos and autograph blocks for my grandfather's 90th birthday. I'm in my iPod at work but check my posted topics for "avatar quilt". I also have a family tree quilt template/pattern bookmarked on my computer at home. When I get home in the morning, I'll send you the link.

there is a preprinted panel that you just applique the included name labels on, heres a link to one for sale on ebay now..this is the one I did.

Theres also another one in a tree format made with photos but its harder to have photos of everyone. Neither are circular but some ideas anyway.

I am into genealogy and we had to do a panel for each side of the tree, my husbands and mine...because its endless!

photo transfer log tree -on my to do list
