I think I found it -- at least something that looks right. Hoffman Bali Batik Large Peonies Beach Sand. Whew! We'll see when it arrives... Wish I could say I learned from this experience, but even my husband, who is really good at math, is not sure why it worked out the way it did. Does this make me creative? Ha!

I got the missing fabric and finished the quilt top -- all I've gotten done so far -- but here is a picture. My main and great regret is that I used fabrics I had on hand and did not buy anything; ideally I would have used graduated colors of batiks, but maybe this is interesting, too.

Think it came out really pretty! Well worth the time and trouble.

Lee, check Hobby Lobby.... I know I have seen that fabric or one very similar there!
