I'm new to quilting and was wondering who else is from GA? what city? I'm trying to find guilds and also information on retreats.

Please feel free to PM me. Right now i live in sharpsburg, ga but will be moving the second week in november to west point , ga which is only 2 miles from the alabama state line on I-85. So even places in auburn, ala area would be great!

I live in Albany in the S/W part of the state. Are you going to the big quilt show in Duluth October 18,19 & 20?? I'm going on that Saturday. My DGD is going with me, we are going to have fun!!!!

I live in Doerun which is near Albany in the S/W part of the state. I am also interested in this thread to find people near me and try to get a machine and frame I bought together and going so I can quilt my own.

I am in Dothan Al, SE corner, and our guild hosts a quilt show mid October at Landmark Park. It is always fun, a 3 day affair, silent auction and craft sale items, lots of pretty quilts. No retreats at this point. We are south of Auburn, Eufaula and Abbyville.
