    I have made my practice pieces in the size of placemats. When i am done playing with the FMQ I bind them with all the left over binding. I use them all the time on the table. It seems like a waste to just put the practice pieces in the trash & go out to buy placemats. I do not use them for company but they are good for DH & I.

    Pot holders & placemats would be good too. If you don't like the placemats, you could give them to Meals on Wheels. Someone would love it.
