I picked up these fabrics to do the disappearing nine patch. I am wondering it I should use a solid color in the middle instead of a print. since the center will be the small square once cut up to the disappearing nine patch..thoughts...do I have to many prints...should I use a solid? The yellow beans seem to stand out...maybe that one should go to.

Maybe do a test D9P block and see how it turns out.

A solid helps--I have made a lot of those lately!

Yes, I agree with the others, a solid would be a good idea!

How about a solid blue since there are so many blues?

I found another fabric in my stash for the center...not solid but very small print. That should work, I think it will balance the colors.
