I saw roll-up chalkboards this summer. You can buy the chalkboard fabric then they were backed with fabric which was wrapped around to make border on the front. I think there was a pocket for chalk and small eraser/cloth. Can't remember where the pocket was (maybe on the back?)

I have made my Grands pillow cases both from flannel and cotton. I bought them a pillow to go with the case. They really liked getting them. I used fabric in themes to suit each one.l

How about pillow beds? You sew five pillows into a long strip of fabric. When they are not in use, you stack them together to form a cube.

My suggestion is fabric Christmas ornaments, personalized to reflect their preferred colors or themes. I am suggesting this despite their young ages because I still treasure the ornaments made by a dear family friend for my brother and me when we were small. Maybe I am a sentimental softie, but I still smile (and tear up) when I unpack the ornaments each year and see them again. ('Course, the fact that I have both my own and my brother's ornaments tells you how much of an impact they had on him...)

Terry cloth robes. They never towel off well when they get out of the shower or tub and the robes finish the job until you can get them into their jammies. Make them with attached hoods to towel dry their hair.
