When I first read it, it was a godsend. It helped me so much because I had made every mistake she talked about.

I'ts a great book, but newbies aren't really going to appreciate it as mush as some of us who have been quilting a couple decades. Nobody quilts the old way, with cardboard templates and such. So the problems she talks about are so "old school"

She had a contest for the worst quilt. You can still see some of them on her website. http://www.amisimms.com/worquilworco.html You had to submit your own work.
