What is your opinion of these new cutting machines out on the market. Looks as tho would need to change cutting mas quite often (costly) not all shapes or lengths would be able to be cut from machine?
Been contemplating about getting one.
What's the opinion of the majority?

Do you mean the Accuquilt Go and Baby?I have the Go, and I love it. You do need to change matts, I guess depending on how much you use it.....our LQS has the matts pretty reasonable though.

I have the go!! I love it. But just like anything else you will have some who love it or hate it. I use mine alot so I go thru mats pretty quick. I just buy when on sale and make sure that I have back up mats for my back up mats..

I have the Go cutter and just love it. Just before Christmas, I bought some strip cutting dies, they cut much straighter than I do with a rotary cutter. You do have to replace the mats, but, they really aren't that expensive. It sure makes cutting a lot easier.

Thanks for your input, been debating whether it be worth purchasing, since my husband cringes every time I go to fabric shop or tell him I have an order on line coming in.
May tell him "Get a grip" at least this hobby keeps me off the gambling boat or the bars.

Thanks again.

For husbands"men have their toys and WOMEN MUST HAVE THEIRS."

I was unable to use the Accuquilt because of my arthritis.

I do use and absolutely loooove my Alto's QuiltCut2. I can cut more, more precisely, and more quickly.
