What kind of glue is good for attaching embellishments to an appliqued wall hanging? Specifically, eyes to a teddy bear. I want something that will stay. Since it is a wall hanging, it probably won't be washed.

If you use "Aleene's Jewel-It" it would still be washable. The one I have I got at Walmart.

Tell me more about 'sew on eyes'. From Joann's or Hobby Lobby? Where?
Thanks.

I got them awhile back from Joannes. They were in the notions by the buttons. I used them to make teddy bears. I am sure they sell them other places tho'. Try online. c

Like amma, I like the look of buttons for eyes. I have not had much long-term success with fabric glues.

Allene's Jewel It is great. Holds through many washings.
