I went yesterday , swung by the fabric dept .... found a basket of FQ's for 50 CENTS EACH !!!! I bought them all !! There was about 30 !!! So go check your Walmart !

the wal mart on Long Island, has very little fabs, and nevr anything that great, Great for you!!!

My Walmart does not have a single spec of fabric. Not a fat quarter, bundle, nothing. It was receintly remodeled and they took it all out.

I was in one of the old Walmart stores in a town near us on Sunday. I hadn't been there in a couple of years because it's a small store that doesn't have much. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great fabric dept. and bought nice fabrics at $2.50 and $3.47 a yard!! Think I'll be going back there more often. (Doesn't hurt that there's a great Chinese buffet in that town either!)

some days you just win. i happened to be in my walmart last year when they were closing out charm packs and fat quarters for 70% off. i filled my basket and it cost less than $50. shared with my pals and still have loads left.
