Default Going to have to make a new flannel quilt

My son, who is a freshman in college, packed up today and we took him back to campus. I asked if he was taking his quilt back and he held up my flannel rag quilt that had ended up in his room and said "May I take this one?" It's 3 layers of flannel, and warmer than his regular lap sized one. Although I made it for me a couple years ago I let him take it. He really has grown to love quilts, so I'm just glad he appreciates what I make. I guess this just means I need to make a new one! I have some flannel I bought 2 years ago, but haven't justified working on it since I already had one. Well, I think it's time!

aaww that probably makes you feel good that he wanted to take a quilt with him. Now you can get busy sewing on another one for yourself I made my son a quilt when he went to college but he leaves it here on his bed. He said its too hot for his dorm....

His room here at home is on a corner and is a bit cool if the temps are real low, which they have been recently in Ohio. I think he had gathered a collection of 4 different quilts back in his room, this being one of them. lol
