We are going to visit my Daughter in Troy Ohio and then head toward N. Royalton, OH to visit my sister, can anyone give me some stores that we must see!! My hubby wants to also go to Lehmns hardware in OH and the Amish area. I'm sure there will be stores there too. Do you have any ideas? Thanks for any suggestions.

If you're taking the tollroad get off at the Fremont exit #91 and go south on Rt. 53. Follow the map here -- http://www.thedoormouse.com/map.htm

The Doormouse has TONS of fabric. If they don't have it, then you don't need it! It's only about 10 or 15 min from the tollroad.

Miller's Dry Goods in Charm is my favorite. Gramma Fannie's Quilt Barn in Berlin, Hearthside Quilt Shoppe in Kidron for just a few.

try going to a maps website (like google or yahoo) - get your route established and then search for quilt stores and they'll show up on the section of map you have displayed.

I just did this the other day for a trip we're planning on taking in a few months.

My SIL, who lives in that area, has mentioned this one. I also enjoy Lehman's Hardware Store.

There are some great quilt shops and a weekend flea market in Millersberg....not a far drive from Lehman's. A good fabric outlet right beside the flea market and nice quilt shops downtown.

Try website "Quilter's Travel Companion". It has LQS for each
State and Show's going on in the area.
