Looks good! Take it to the laundromat to wash and dry, it makes a lot of lint that can ruin a home machine! Some put an old clean tennis ball or shoe in the wash and dry to beat it up a little and make it more frayed.

I just finished a rag quilt. Posted pictures on Monday. Definitely go to laundromat for washing, however I cleaned their machine out when I finished, their dryer also!! It does make a mess. I bought a pair of Fiskar's rag quilt scissors before I even started clipping the seams. Got them at JoAnn's with a 40% coupon so they were not expensive at all. I believe the "ragging" will continue for a couple more washings but I hope most of it is gone.

I had to go to local quilt store. Joann's does not carry rag scissors anymore, I got scissors called Heritage something.

So long as your seams are at least 1/2 inch to 5/8 of an inch you should be good to go. If your seams aren't wide enough they may come apart when washed. Ask me how I know, lol? It looks great.

I have no clue how to make one of these, but haven't yet googled one. 1/2" seams outside........got that, but what is "clipping"? I have seen posts about taking it to a laundrymat because it "strings" and can get messy.....might like to try one, do you recommend any particular website?
