Are either of these a good deal?

That just seems like a lot of $. I use the Flynn Frame system which was $130 or so, so I can't really compare, but $2K just really seems like a lot for anything

Which Bailey is it? The 13 or the 15? I think is a great deal, given that the frame and shipping are included. 2K sounds like a lot if it was a regular sewing machine, but a very good price for a mid arm.

I am also going to see if they have any machines for sale - they sell "class" machines and the website says they have less than 10 hours of use each. So, if I could get one of the sale machines it might be even better!

I know nothing about this, but my question is, why aren't they made to be able to do a king size. That seems very limiting especially when you are talking about that amount of money.

I talked to him and if I remember correctly, the price quoted on a class machine didn't seem like much of a savings. And, he was going to charge shipping. Still would like to have one, but I really think a frame that could be expanded to King would be nice.

I would go with the one with the deepest throat on the machine.

From my understanding to do a king size quilt you need a minimum of a 12' frame! Not everyone has the room for that. I know I don't so when I get my setup it will have to be a 10' frame. And I plan on spending a heckuva lot more money for my long arm than 2K.

Another question, so if one were to make a king size quilt they'd have to send it out to finish?
