The sun is shining, we're finally going to have temperatures in the 30s and maybe in the 40s next week. :) Just thought I would see what everyone was hard at work on this beautiful day. I'm hoping to finish the two charity quilts I'm working on and play with the machine embroidery some.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Heather

I finished 116 felt heart sucker covers on my Janome 350e for my granddaughter late last night. It took me all day, my machine was acting up. I have no idea how I fixed it or it fixed itself. Strange how a machine can start acting up for what appears no apparent reason and then start working again for no apparent reason. Today I plan to put borders on a quilt I have had in the works for weeks. I keep getting distracted with other projects.

When I pry myself off the keyboards in a few the plan:
go into stash find fabric for BOM star [from Jan.], piecing for some charity quilts and spending some time with the UFO pile.

Happy Quilting.

I'm watching DGD today. Mom is on call so there is no sewing for me today.

No quilting for me today. My son and DIL are going to their Mardi Gras crewe ball tonight--their first big night out since the twin grandsons were born. Today, I'm making party foods for them to take: chocolate-covered strawberries, cheese balls, and little party sandwiches. I volunteered to do this, knowing my DIL has little time for such right night. I'm also going to their house this afternoon, in time for them to be able to get dressed without worrying about getting baby spit-up on their ball clothes--and I'm spending the night and part of tomorrow morning so they can sleep-in. I'll be having fun with the babies, and I hope they'll be having fun at the ball.

Sounds like my day here, the sun is shining, the temperatures should be warming up. I plan to put the last blks on the twenty twenty quilt today. Also to play with my embrodiery machine, I want to make some nice dish towels for my friends birthday. I stayed up to late last nite and made 5 dog pillows for the humane society. I hope some little doggies will enjoy!

I'll be working on some chicken blocks, crumb blocks, and maybe spend some time on the longarm! :)

It is -8C here and snowing quite heavily at times. I am working on machine quilting a queen sized scrap quilt which has been a UFO for too long. Now that I am not working full time, I finally have time to get some of these completed tops finished. Our guild challenge is to finish at least one UFO for the June meeting and I've challenged myself to have one completed UFO for each meeting. As this month has been snowy and I've been home more than usual, I have four flannel crib quilts, one log cabin queen sized quilt and this scrap quilt(which will be finished) before our February meeting.
