I heard on the news today that WalMart was going to put fabric back in its stores. Said it was a bad decision to take it out. Duh!!!!!

It will probally hurt some LQS like mine, but its good for the overall world of quilters.

Here is what my husband found.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Walmar....html?x=0&.v=1

[begin Excerpt]

The retailer is adding back products every day. Additions to the dry grocery aisles for products like pasta, beverages and snacks have been in progress and will continue. In the next few months, additions to fresh grocery and consumables, such as paper towels, toilet paper and laundry detergent, as well as health and wellness products, will be made. General merchandise categories like electronics, sporting goods, apparel, fabrics/crafts and outdoor living will expand later this year.

I love hearing this news!! :D:D:D

There are those who only shop LQS, whether it is online or in person. Isn't it wonderful to have all of these choices :D:D:D

Still hearing varying reports about how many stores will be affected. Hope they are smart about it and go everywhere.

Will wait and see what they do. Most likely won't be like it was before is my guess. Anyhow, I doubt that I shop their much. I guess I have moved on! We will see!
