Sun Bonnet Chair Pad
#3
I don't have a pic. of the chair pad. I just made notes on it when it was posted.
Directions:
#-1 measure back of your chair, cut a background piece that size.
#2- 1st. border, 1-2" wide, sew on 1st. border on the top & one on the bottom. measure length needed for the 2nd. side borders, sew those on.
#3- 2nd. border, cut 1-2" wide, sew on like first border.
#4-cut a backing piece, and batting piece to fit to the edge of your piece that you just finished putting the borders on. press seams open. Stitch in the ditch around the 2 borders. (You can do any thing decorative instead of stitching in the ditch would work.
#5-Applique Sue in the center, (hand or machine applique)
#6-sew on 4 buttons on the front at each corner of first border.
#7- sew on 4 ties at each corner to be tied to top of chair back & bottom of chair back. Ties can be ribbon or make your own to match fabrics.
Enjoy!!

I hope this makes sense to you. My notes were kind of sketchy to say the least.
