I know a lady that is wanting to sell a Janome Q6260 for $500.00 dollars. Is this a good price? If anyone has any details on this machine please let me know.

Thanks :-)

My advice would be to call an authorized Janome dealer and ask them. Also ask what kind of attachments you should be getting with it because most Janomes come with a bunch of extra feet and other things.

I would call a Janome dealer and ask them about that model, what attachments comes with it, if they have had many repairs with that model etc.

good luck

I just pulled up Janome website

http://janome.com/index.cfm/Machines

and didn't see that machine listed

I called the 1-800-631-0183 ext. 774 and they can't find that model, call her back and ask the lady the exact name and model #

Good Luck!

I found this at the Janome site under "retired." I'm guessing it's the same machine she's offering for sale ..? http://www.janome.com/index.cfm/Machines/Retired/6260QC

I found it on eBay for $700 (Janome 6260 -- I think the model # is 6260QC for Quilter's Companion as someone else posted). Might be other listings for it on eBay too; I didn't look.

When I Googled for reviews, the reviews were pretty good.
