Has anyone made the Vintage Violets Handbag? http://www.connectingthreads.com/pat..._PD991265.html

Just wondering if there are any "tricks" to success

Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

I made one, it came out real cute, but it is wayyyy too small for me.

I just ran across this post, I made this originally for my daughter, and lengthened the strap to be shoulder length ... turned out adorable, especially when I embroidered a kitty on the front panel. Then I took those pattern pieces and blew them up a little at the library (onto 11x17 paper) and made another larger version, and used chain for the strap. Very easy pattern to do, and very easy to alter and blow up larger.
