I've decided to just go ahead and make some flowers for the GFG quilt and worry about how to put it together later! I wanted something different but haven't found it yet! Any ideas other then the usual?

http://www.laurassewingstudio.com/Em...GMFG/gmfg.html

Try this site for ideas. Congrats on your 1st flower!

Also, type in GFG or "hex quilts" here on the search. There are quite a few come up

Here's a neat idea for hexagons: http://www.quiltville.com/hexagons.shtml

You could do an image search on google for hexagon quilts, or search for photos of hexagon quilts on webshots, flickr, photobucket, tumblr, etc. Make a coloring sheet and just color in your flowers or diamonds or triangles, whatever you decide.

Hi! What colors are you going to use in your GFG?

Somewhere I saw one all out lined in black, instead of the traditional white, and that looked REALLY neat! You could really use any color as the outlines, if I am making any sense!
