    Default Hexi Quilts

I've done several quilts using Hexi's, I tend to stray from the traditional GFF. But here are a few photos I've pulled together in a collage. I am working on a new one right now that will be assembled in a wavy pattern using different color ways for each row.

I love the gfg and am working on one now, at the row joining stage and am not sure how to attach it to the background fabric. When I was at my lqs to pick out my background I mentioned this and was told when I get to that stage to come in and they would show me what to do.

Can't remember where I saw this quilt (maybe Pinterest) but it was a hexie quilt with cascading colors from top corner to bottom corner diagonally. Wish I knew where I saw this. It was scrappy in that within each color, there were multiple fabrics. Hope this is understandable!

This is similar to the one I mentioned above. (Found on Pinterest).

Too late to edit the above post, but this is the original info on the quilt:

I found the image on Pinterest.

I just finished the top of mine and am waiting for my batting to arrive in the mail. But as you can see on mine I have some flowers that are a little different in the second row of petals because I didn't have enough of the color I wanted. Some of my border flowers are even multiple colors because I didn't want to cut yardage for a few hexies. The sides of my hexies are 2".

Love the black and white hexies between the colors!

After looking at all the pictures it is apparent that it doesn't matter what setting a person uses -- all the quilts turn out beautiful!
