I just watched an episode of Quilt in a Day. Eleanor Burns was doing a GFG "her" way. It was from her "EGG MONEY" book. Has anyone made one this way? I was especially interested because I was working on my GFG while watching. I am doing english paper pieceing. So far, I have used 1125 hex's and I'm not done yet! I did one last year also, but have no idea how many hex's. Her "block" contained 3 pieces. Imagine that!! My block (or flower) has 37pieces! Hers sure looks interesting!

I don't have any books by her. I have always liked the pattern but, would only want to do an easy one, I don't have the patience for a quilt that takes a long time to make. Good for you making one.

I have one that my mom started and never finished. I'm not real sure how to finish it, so for now it's in the closet.
