I just purchased 500 2" pre-cut, pre-washed squares from e-bay yesterday for $9.50 and that includes s/h. The woman told me that the fabric is 100% cotton, purchased from a quilt shop and that I won't be disappointed in the quality or selection of the fabric. I figured I really couldn't go wrong for that price. I will let you all know how it goes. I'll take pictures and post them when I receive the fabric. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with 2" squares yet.

Wow...that sounds pretty good. I have been so leary about buying online when I can't feel what I'm getting. I have to go check out Ebay now!

Ebay is really good for fabric, I was given a gift card to ebay and spent it all on fabric and rotary cutter blades. One other link I will post that is a great deal and they work good in my olfa rotary cutter, http://myworld.ebay.com/threadart1/

I would stay away from the "pound" lots. I bought two of them, and wasn't disapointed, but others who are looking for largers pieces of fabric would be. Just remember you don't always get what you pay for

Quilter 101 have you purchased any thread from the sight that you posted. They have a good selection to choose from. I was just wondering if it was good thread.

I am a "thrifty" fabric shopper but want good quality products. I have found some great deals on E-Bay for all of my quilting and embroidery needs (& wishes).

I buy from Philly Fabrics and have never been disappointed. Her prices and quality are really good!!!! She is also very helpful. I didn't have enough matching fabric to complete my quilt she was able to provide it for me. I was really happy with her.

If we can find quality goods at lower prices we can make more quilts :D

Happy new year and happy shopping.
