Dh just called me to get him a bag ready. When he gets off tonight he'll come home, shower, dress, eat and head out for a few days. He worked out of town all last winter and I got set in a routine of quilting at night. He's been home all summer and now the traveling starts again. Time to get the laptop set up so I can watch tv while I sew I guess. Oh well I have some skirts to make for dd and a quilt to finish.

Every time I think I'm gonna have alone time so I can quilt I wind not quilting. Instead I take care of things around our home that I can't get done when everyone is home pestering me plus I don't know how to quilt without interuption. I think the iteruption keeps me from getting board with a project. Have fun with your quiet time!

I find it hard to sew without interruption too! I thought it was just me! Just shows how "on" we are all the time with little ones!

I have a habit of sewing to the exclusion of all else, and since I live alone that's easy to do. So the cleaning doesn't get done, laundry, etc. It's a good thing the dog interrupts me to be taken out! So I sew for an hour, and clean for 15 minutes, and start with the cleaning part. It's a pretty good arrangement...when I do it!
