Ofcourse fabric you silly quilters. They have 100 percent cotton fabric, solids that are nicely woven and soft for a $1.50 a yard. Just got it in this morning. I thought I would share cause I know there are some like me who got to buy fabric as cheap as possible.

Hate to admit, but I get most of my fabric at walmart. Thankfully, ours is not planning on getting rid of fabric anytime soon. And the quilting fabrics are not supposed to be hit with the price hike. Just the more premium / specialty fabrics.

You really have to watch what you get, but you can really get some great bargains on good fabric at WalMart. I've been going there for years, and if you're really careful you can get good stuff.

I tell you what, the quilting fabric here went up - used to be $2 a yard for the "quilt of the month" fabric, then it went to $2.44 a yard and just this week went up to $2.97... so if your local wm didn't raise the "quilt" fabric count yourself lucky..

Thanks for the info. I am all over the fabric of the month there - very nice for Walmart! At one time not so long ago it was all about price for me - now I am a little more selective.

Just like everywhere, quality varies. Nothing wrong with a good quality fabric, no matter where it was purchased.
