Guess what I just did......????

Hi All,
I just wanted to share my news....!
I have been waiting to see what the new Bernina 500's would be like as I was thinking of buying one. Anyway, today we went to the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham and off I went to the Bernina stand.
Only real difference I could see and the sales person could tell me about in the new machines is a slightly improved screen, different lighting and on the 580 a 9mm stitch length and a thread cutter.
Also the stitch regulator is only stardard with the 550,
Whilst the new 500's are okay, you just seemed to get a lot more for your money from the 630........ so I bought one!!!!!!
I have the most wonderful husband there is..... I really don't NEED another machine but I so wanted a Bernina with a stitch regulator so he said get it!
My new Baby will join my other machines (Singer 66 Treadle, Jamone 4900QC, Janome Horizon and Brother 4000D) on Friday.
I guess after this one arrives I won't be able to go down the new machine route for a little while!
Oh I am so excited I can't wait until she arrives!
Hugs and thanks for listening!

YAY for you!! Aren't awesome hubbies great to have??!!! I wouldn't trade mine...although I did just tell him my "addiction" to buying all things quilting is his fault...because he never gripes about it... :-)... He did not exactly agree with that, however...Have fun with your new machine, and let us know how it sews...
