Unhappy Had to say Good Buy to some dear friends today...

Well, only temporary anyway. Started to pack up my sewing room today since we are moving next month. Got all my Quilting Mags, Books, projects and fabric packed up this afternoon. Now for the rest of the stuff in my sewing room. Granted, I do not have that big of a stash, but it is still sad to see it being packed up.

At least I get to look forward to resorting everything out when I unpack it. Maybe I will be more organized that way

Will you have a nice, new sewing room when you move? Hope so!!!

My new sewing room will be a Dinning Room in the house. Can not get to attached since we will be just renting, but it is better than nothing Also, the thought of having to move in the future keeps the stash in check and I get to find all my UFO's when I pack/unpack

A Bonus for moving and packing things up, get to take in my machine for a yearly maintenance and I am not going to miss it that much since I have no time to sew now anyway

ah Julie I know of what you speak, as I am doing the same thing, but I so look forward to my new sewing room, it even has a gas log fire place and I will hang my flat TV above it, with a love seat sofa a perfect place to do some hand stitching. So much packing to do I hardly know where to start! Good luck with yours.

Well I can say that makes three of us then Julie and Leaha as I'm also moving to a much smaller place , also renting and my sewing space will be in my living room , compared to my bedroom here, but like you said it's better then nothing.
Wish you both luck.

I am moving also. On the 26th, so Im looking at about 3 weeks with no sewing. The rest of my apt. is not so bad, but my sewing room is over whelming.BUT...Im not complaining, I need absolutely every single thing that is in there!! The best part of it is, where Im moving my sewing room is twice as big! YEY!
