Welcome to the Quilting Board!
When I got my first roll of Triangles on a Roll, I made all 800 of them. It was addictive.
There are sites that has print your own. I don't have the links handy but a google search should bring them up. Also I found whole page stencils of each common size of HST at a quilt show. I prefer to print but a stencil is super nice when I run out of printer ink right in the middle! I have a 7/8" ruler that is so handy to cut strips to make my own. I have the 1/2" hst marker, the Wonder Cut ruler that makes hundreds of hsts in no time, Quilt in a Day hst ruler which is great for quarter hsts, a new HST maker ruler still in the package, Inklingo andTriangulationsoftware, and the Go dies of the common size of HST. I use a different method each time I make HSTs. I enjoy having options! One method may not suit my mood at the time.
One thing to watch out for: if you put these paper patterns on a copy machine, they do not always come out perfectly. It's called copy machine distortion. At a 4-H quilt camp (ages 10 to 18) we worked with 8 1/2 x 11 sheets that had six 3 inch squares on it. The bottom two were not quite right. One of girls had to cut all her HST's to a smaller size to compensate.
I don't think I have seen any triangles on a roll, is there a you tube video on how to use them?

You are so right. Great product. I was doing an inside border on a queen quilt and used this and it worked great! The speed and accuracy was the real bonus.
The quilttime site is a real keeper! Thanks so much!
The quilt you see, is a part of me.
