Has anyone ever done a half yard challenge?

5 fabrics, 3 shapes.. the half square triangle, the quarter triangle and the square.

I am thinking of doing this and wanted to know if anyone has done this challenge and if so how their quilts came out?

Don't know anything about it.
Tell me about it, who sponsors, what are the requirements or where to get info, etc.

Never done this one - but it sounds like fun. You should do it - you will always learn something and look at the great practice you will get!!

That was one of the quilts on the Fons & Porter DVD that was sent out recently-trying to get you to pay and order future DVD's. They showed how to choose fabrics, ideas for picking out designs. That seemed to be the only interesting one on the DVD.

Do you pick out your own blocks for this challenge? Or would it be a block like the Double Friendship Star that has all 3 shapes in the same block?

Interesting but I have never done that one. I did enjoy the paint chip challenge I recently did with another group on line.
