Am wondering if anyone has opinions of Hancock Fabrics new store remodels? Not all of them are done yet, but it is coming. I am wondering if that is why they are having such fabulous sales on their fabric - to downsize the inventory.

I am told that they will be more like a Michaels or a Joanns. Adding more crafts, the Martha Stewart line and also some Wilton products.

My Hancock's hasn't remodeled yet. I'll be looking for it though. Love your avatar! So cute!

I did not know this but hoping if they do remodel, they have more employees working than Joanns.

Our Hancock's is moving to a new location this month. We were hoping that they would have more room for fabric. We don't need another craft store -- already have a Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Guess we should be thankful that it's not closing though.

Thanks! :) That' is "Al" our shelter dog. (he came with the name) He is 13 now and we just love him. He is a "Marly & Me" dog. Somewhat of a hyper twit, but he is the best!

Ours went out of business years ago. Couldn't compete with Joanns.

Have'nt been in the 1 closest to me in awhile (up until a few yrs ago, it was only few min. away & before that, it was just around the corner}, then moved real close to a huge Joanns. I'd really prefer to shop there than Joann's (way 2 big!!).

I think there are only 3 Hancock Fabric stores in all of Arizona - 2 in Tucson and 1 in Flagstaff??. The rest closed quite a while ago. Darn it.
