Help with PFAFF 1222/1221 - no straight stitching issue
Hello Folks, I've bough a PFAFF1221 that only sews zigzag stitches. I read the manual and it looks like the "8. zeroing the needle for straight stitch" is the solution - please confirm.. I followed the procedure but couldnt identify the "stud 2" but I did find the hex screw and the levers. Would you someone here shed a light on this issue please? Much appreciated. thank you

Welcome, Spock. That sounds about right. I have a 1222 that would not straight stitch. I got it working (but I had to time the hook several times), but I put it away. I got it out, as someone wanted one, but when I tried to sew some stitch samples and make sure it was working properly - it messed up again. I was frustrated and haven't touched it since.
I used to belong to the OldPfaffPforum group on Yahoo, which is no longer around. When Yahoo Groups stopped, I did not switch/join the facebook or io groups. I'm thinking there may be someone to help as this is a popular and well liked model on https://www.facebook.com/groups/379226025601025/ or https://groups.io/g/OldPfaffPforum
